Could you share more on your role as the Lead Developer at IbisVision? What’s your primary goals and objectives?

As the Lead Developer at IbisVision, I oversee all technical aspects of our products. My primary goals are to ensure smooth operations, address client needs, and drive continuous improvement through innovative software solutions. 

What recent updates have been made to IBISrecheck and IBISengage? How are these innovations enhancing the user experience?

We’re constantly refining our products to deliver optimal performance. Recent advancements in IBISrecheck include enhanced camera calibration for improved distance measurements and improved voice recognition capabilities. Additionally, we’ve expanded our language system to include Spanish and we’re actively working on further localization.

IBISengage has benefited from these advancements, leveraging similar technologies for distance detection. We’re also currently conducting research to validate and optimize our refraction testing. The modular architecture of IBISengage enables easy integration of new features, tailoring the platform to specific client requirements.

What specific features have you implemented to streamline the user journey and optimize the overall experience?

There have been a few recent improvements of note that we’re delighted to have added to our platform. These include:

Language Localization: Expanding language support enhances accessibility for users worldwide.

Voice Recognition: This feature eliminates the need for additional devices, streamlining the testing process.

Facial Recognition: Improved facial recognition in IBISengage continues to deliver accurate results.

In your opinion, how does IbisVision’s product suite differentiate itself from competitors in the market? What unique features or benefits set us apart?

While other products offer basic eye testing functionalities, IbisVision stands out by providing a user-friendly and innovative experience. We focus on developing reusable and modular components to accommodate difference client needs, offering a highly customizable solution.

What are the primary advantages that our customers gain from using IBISrecheck and IBISengage?

Our web-based applications ensure accessibility across various devices and internet connections. Voice recognition and automatic distance detection enhance user experience, making the testing process efficient and intuitive.

What exciting new features or developments are on the horizon for IbisVision’s products?

We’re exploring exciting possibilities to enable new interaction methods, offering alternative input options for users who many not be able to use voice commands or remote controls.

What aspects of working on this technology do you find most fulfilling? How does it align with your personal and professional goals?

I’m passionate about the freedom to experiment with new ideas and push the boundaries of our technology.
